This website is operated by The Lash and Nail Academy. Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to The Lash and Nail Academy. The Lash and Nail Academy offers this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or services to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e‑mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

SECTION 10 – BINDING AGREEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By purchasing any training program, course, or product from The Lash and Nail Academy, you acknowledge and agree that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms of Service. The act of purchasing a training program constitutes a binding agreement between you (the student) and The Lash and Nail Academy, and you agree to comply with all terms outlined in this agreement.

It is your responsibility to review these Terms of Service carefully before completing any purchase. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not proceed with the purchase. Your purchase of a training program signifies your full acceptance of these Terms of Service, and they will govern your participation in the course or training, including any related services provided by The Lash and Nail Academy.

SECTION 11 - COURSE PAYMENTS/FEES

100% Payment is required upon registering for your online training.
All course fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
The only exception is when you take advantage of our finance options.
After browsing all the options on this website, please contact +27 71 452 4763 during working hours to speak with one of our course advisors for more advice on our courses and the payment options available.
Remember we offer interest-bearing loans for students who qualify for finance.
*Please note we reserve the right to amend course prices or run promotions at any time, without prior notice. Once a booking is made, the price paid is final and no price difference can be refunded in the event of a later course price reduction.

SECTION 12 - ONLINE COURSES


Please select carefully as unfortunately, no refunds or credits can be given to students opting for online courses. Online courses are affordable, self-paced and more convenient. If you select to have no trainer present to walk you through the training please note you do require time management and more discipline. We also offer support or advice regarding products or kits that are not purchased from us. One on one support is always available to any student that may require assistance.

SECTION 13 -ZOOM CLASSES

Please note that all theory and practical exams are to be completed via a live one on one zoom session with the educator, these sessions can be booked directly with your educator in advance to be able to accommodate the date and time preferred by the student. If you cannot attend your theory or practical exam please ensure to cancel your booking with your educator to ensure that the slot is available to be filled in advanced for other students.

SECTION 14 - ADDITIONAL CLASSES

Additional classes can be booked with the educator in advance, there is no limit to how many classes a student may book, there are also no additional fees for these classes.

 

Please note the educator cannot accept last minute bookings unless agreed upon otherwise, please ensure you book in advance.

SECTION 15 - MINIMUM STUDENT AGE


We accept all students aged 16 years or over. With regret due to insurance reasons, we are unable to accept students aged under 16 years. Please note most insurers will only provide public liability (beauty therapist) insurance for working with the general public to those aged 18 or over.

SECTION 16 – NO REFUNDS

By purchasing any training program, course, or product from The Lash and Nail Academy, you acknowledge and agree that all sales are final. We do not offer refunds under any circumstances, including but not limited to, dissatisfaction with the content, failure to complete the course, or inability to access the training.

Once payment is made, it is non-refundable, regardless of the reason. We encourage you to carefully review all course details, including course materials, schedules, and prerequisites, before completing your purchase.

In the event that you encounter technical issues or other challenges related to accessing your course, we will make reasonable efforts to assist you, but no refund will be issued.

SECTION 17 - CERTIFICATES


Certificates of completion are issued by email within 2 working days of completing and submitting all course criteria, and upon being marked competent. Upon successful completion of a course or training program offered by The Lash and Nail Academy, students will receive a Certificate of Completion. This certificate is intended to serve as a recognition of the student’s completion of the training and demonstrates their acquired skills and competency in the subject area.

It is important to note that these Certificates of Completion are not formal qualifications and do not carry the same weight as certifications from accredited institutions or regulatory bodies. While the certificate reflects the student's understanding and practical application of the material covered in the course, it does not imply or guarantee any official qualification, licensing, or recognition by external bodies, employers, or other entities.

The certificate should be viewed as an acknowledgment of competency in the specific areas taught within the course, and not as an official credential for employment or professional licensing. Students are encouraged to check with relevant professional associations, employers, or local regulatory agencies to understand the specific qualifications required for their field of practice. Certificates are provided as digital certificates to meet the needs of insurance providers & reduce our carbon footprint. Students are responsible for ensuring they contact us by email within 30 days of completing their training course, should you fail to receive their certificate for any reason or should there be any error in the certificate received, please contact tyla@thelashandnailacademy.co.za or at +27 71 452 4763

SECTION 18 - COMPLAINTS


We are eager to ensure all students gain the most from their training experience. Please raise any difficulties or concerns with us as soon as possible, as most issues can quickly be rectified at the time. However, if in the unlikely event you are unsatisfied with your training by any means, please submit your complaint to tyla@thelashandnailacademy.co.za. We take all feedback and complaints very seriously, and this will be investigated as required. You will receive a response in writing within 2 working days.
